Information and Educational Exchange Act of 1948 (Smith-Mundt Act)

The U.S. Information and Educational Exchange Act of 1948, popularly called the Smith–Mundt Act, was first introduced by Congressman Karl E. Mundt in January 1945 in the 79th Congress.
