Smith-Mundt Modernization Act of 2012
The Smith-Mundt Modernization Act allows USAGM to make its content available in broadcast quality within the United States, upon request, for the first time. The new law also facilitates global connectivity and audience engagement, and provides greater transparency into publicly-funded broadcasting. (US Agency for Global Media, USAGM)
