2024 United Kingdom Riots

From 30 July to 5 August 2024 far-right, anti-immigration protests and riots occurred in the United Kingdom. The riots, which were the largest incident of social unrest in England since 2011, included racist attacks, arson, and looting. They began in Southport, where protestors attacked Southport Mosque, after false claims were circulated by far-right groups that the perpetrator of a mass stabbing on 29 July was a Muslim and an asylum seeker.
