How did immigration into the U.S. become so terrible? In this episode, we go over every U.S. immigration law up to the Hart-Celler Act or the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965. When looking at immigration broadly, it is clear that every effort was made to keep the U.S. demographics confined to people of northwestern European descent. Even with the Hart-Celler Act, Americans were promised that the demographic makeup of the U.S. would not change. In conclusion, we discuss the ramifications of the Hart-Cellar Act and the steady deterioration of demographics in the U.S.
