PSYOP: Supremacy of the Nuclear Family

In this episode, Gerron guest-hosts and presents the extremely insightful idea that the supremacy of the nuclear family idea is actually just a PSYOP. He points out that the nuclear family model decreases family support compared to the preceding extended family model. He also points out that it increases the mobility of the family unit which results in nuclear families moving away from the extended family to the detriment of the nuclear family.
