What really happened at Majdanek? After completing our Holocaust series, we now go back to Majdanek, the first "extermination" camp found by the Soviets. Though not as important as our other videos, due to the fact that the number of 2 million gassed at this camp has been reduced to 78,000, Majdanek is still a very important part of the Holocaust story because the original story was 4-4.5 million at Auschwitz and 2 million at Majdanek. In this episode, we discuss how the Majdanek lie went from 2 million to 78,000, the tragedy (not gassing) that actually happened to the 78,000 (or, more accurately, 42,200) Jews who died here, as well as other stories such as how the story went from 7 gas chambers to 2.
